- Amazon Prime’s web series is ‘Tandava’
- Ali Abbas Zafar is the director
- Saif Ali Khan and Dimple Kapadia are in the lead
Tandav Review: ‘Tandava’ is a word that reflects the rage of anything. Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Tandav’ tried to show the game of politics and that too in its form. But after watching the web series, one realizes that it is not the orgy of politics, but a simple dance of rajiti, which is difficult to tie in any name. Ali Abbas Zafar, the director who made films like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ from this series, has entered the digital world. But due to lack of depth in the story, he is unable to touch the wire of the heart.
‘Tandav’ begins with the game of politics. Tigmanshu Dhulia is a big leader. His party is going to take power for the third time. But before the results, he dies. Saif Ali Khan is his son, and after the father’s death, he thinks he is going to become PM. But the game turns around and the bet is on someone else’s hand. In this way the game of politics begins, in which actors like Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Zeeshan Ayub appear. But the story of ‘Tandava’ runs at a slow pace and gains momentum after the fifth episode. But it can be meaningless to expect too much from the series because there is no depth in the story.
Talking about acting in ‘Tandav’, Dimple Kapadia has done a great acting, and her digital debut has been successful, she is the most different in terms of acting in the whole web series and her character Brilliantly done alive on screen. Saif Ali Khan has also acted well, but in the last three episodes of the series, he comes in his true colors, and makes an impact. While the other actors of the series Zeeshan Ayub, Gauhar Khan and Sunil Grover etc. have good acting. The ‘Tandava’ series can be seen to watch the shallow game of politics, but don’t expect much depth.
